🌞August 2025

Smartico release notes for August 2025 - covering CRM Automation and Gamification improvements done since the previous release.

Smarter Jackpot Targeting: Latest Participants Only

We’ve added a new configuration option to Jackpot settings that allows operators to specifically target participants from the most recent pot.

Available in the “When exploded, send event to users” and “When exploded, notify online users” dropdowns, this enhancement gives you more control over who receives post-jackpot events. Instead of defaulting to a broad audience across all jackpot rounds, you can now choose to engage only those users who actively contributed to the latest pot - making your campaigns more precise and relevant.

Common case for Raffle tickets

We’ve introduced a new predefined common case for Raffle campaigns: “User has X tickets for Raffle Y.” This addition streamlines the process of identifying users based on the number of tickets they’ve accumulated for a specific raffle, making it easier to target frequent scenarios without building custom logic from scratch.

With this template, you can quickly segment users by ticket count ranges, apply your own conditions, and manage rebuild scheduling according to your campaign needs. It’s designed to save time, reduce complexity, and support more efficient audience targeting for raffle-based promotions.

Game category filtering

Game category filtering has been implemented across the game selection components in Jackpots, Missions, and Tournaments. This enhancement introduces a new "Categories" filter within the Games picker and view sections, allowing operators to refine selections based on category. The filtering logic is driven by data passed through the existing API integration and surfaced in the game catalog. Each game’s category is displayed in a dedicated column within the Eligible Games and Related Games tables, providing clearer visibility and more precise control during setup. When a game has multiple categories they will be separated by a comma.

BO: Custom section visibility details

We’ve improved the Custom Sections template in the Back Office (BO) by providing clearer visibility details for the specified section.

Custom section visibility in the UI is determined by:

  • Section Status – Active or Inactive

  • Label Settings – Enabled or Disabled

  • Visibility Period – Within the valid time range or not

Note: For Custom sections linked to entities such as missions, tournaments, or mini-games, those entities must also be in Active status. Otherwise, the section will not be displayed in the UI.

If any of these conditions are disabled or set outside the current time range, the section will not appear in the UI. With this enhancement, you can now easily identify why a section is not visible. For example, if the section status is Active and the Visibility Period is within the current dates, but the section is disabled in Label Settings, a clear message will notify you that the section will not appear on the UI due to the label setting.

Auto-translations for IM, Inbox and Push

We previously introduced automatic translations for emails, and we're now expanding this feature to Instant Messages, Inbox content, and Push assets. Simply select the languages you'd like to translate into, and we'll generate separate variations with the translated content in each language.

Note: The language selection updates automatically based on the languages used by your userbase.

New Raffle improvements and additions

We are introducing multiple improvements and changes to Raffle with the aim of optimizing the process of managing Draws and making things more clear and understandable.

Changing the Draw Scheduler status with no restriction

We are removing the restriction of changing the Draw Scheduler status once deactivated and now you can change the status freely and as often as needed.

Draw Runs - Status control

One of the biggest changes is that we are adding the ability for you to control the ongoing Draw runs with new Cancel and Resume functionality. This is a separate control from the Draw Scheduler and it affects only the current (ongoing) runs of specific Draw. With this new functionality for example you can emergency stop an ongoing Draw run.

This introduction now clearly separates the Draw scheduler status which affects the future scheduling of new Draw runs, while the Draw runs themselves now have these separate controls to give you a greater range of actions for any scenario you may encounter. To learn more details please check out this guide:

New column added - "Next Draw"

We’ve added a new column called “Next Draw” in the Draw tab so you can quickly see if your Draws have a scheduled execution and at what time it is, as well as seeing if there is no planned execution meaning that the Draw scheduler is stopped.

New column added - "Availability"

We’ve added a new column called “Availability” in the Prizes tab so you can quickly see if our Prizes are Available or Exhausted, meaning they are out of stock. This will help you to manage the stock of the prizes more easily and identify right away if a prize’s stock is depleted.

New hints and descriptions

We’ve updated and added hints to many configuration fields and columns so that you can understand more clearly the configurations and the table data that you use for tracking etc..

Active hours in Mini-games

We’ve introduced a new Active Hours setting for mini-games, allowing you to control exactly when players can play during the day.

BO: Active hours setting in Mini-games

You can set a start time and an end time for the game:

  • Before the start time → The game will still appear in the UI, but players won’t be able to play. If they try, an error message will inform them that the game isn’t available yet.

  • Once the start time is reached → The game becomes available and players can play it until the end time.

  • After the end time → The game becomes restricted again until the next start time is reached.

The Active Hours option is disabled by default, meaning the game has no time restrictions unless explicitly set. This option can be combined with the Date Restriction setting for even more control. For example: If you set the Start Date to 05.05.2025 and the End Date to 30.05.2025, with Active Hours from 08:00 AM to 10:00 PM, the mini-game will:

  • Be visible in the UI from 05.05.2025 to 30.05.2025

  • Be playable daily only between 08:00 AM and 10:00 PM

  • Be unavailable outside those hours (10:00 PM – 08:00 AM), even though it remains visible

Supported mini-games:

  • Spin the Wheel

  • Scratch Card

  • Gift Box

  • Treasure Hunt
