Smartico release notes for September 2022 - covering CRM Automation and Gamification improvements done since the previous release.

We introduced a new segment type - segment based on the behavior of the user.
It combines data from both the user profile state and his behavior. The segment is based on the historical behavior of the user, e.g. users that did total wagering of more than 100 EUR on Slot games in the last 30 days.
This type of segment is updated by a defined schedule. For example once a day at 5 PM.
From all other perspectives, this type of segment can be used as any other in all possible contexts of the Smartico platform
In order to set up the segment you must fill in the following sections:
User activity and timing - which activity you solid like to track and for what period of time. Maximum time for analysis is 90 days
Event attributes - you can define related to the event (activity) attributes
Total conditions - could be a count of activities, Total, MIN or MAX conditions. E.g. to segment users who did "Total" bet amount above 1000 EUR
Update schedule - define a schedule when the segment will be rebuilt
To make your segment even more precise you can also add a user state condition like brand, registration country, language, etc
Behavioral segments like other segments have the possibility to be exported and have a scheduled export if needed.
This type of segment can be used in any context in CRM Automation or Gamification modules:
to limit Real-time and Scheduled campaigns
to limit Automation rules
to limit the visibility of Tournaments, Store items, and Mini-games
Scheduled campaigns are extended with the possibility to find other campaigns that have big overlaps in the targeted segments.
Once you create a scheduled campaign, the feature automatically finds for you other scheduled campaigns which are planned for the ± 3 days from your original campaign and shows you the overlap size in the % of the original campaign.
In the "Users #" you can see the total number of users in each of the campaigns that are close in time to the original one, and in the "Overlap, %" you can see % of users in the original campaign that are also targeted by other campaigns.
In order to exclude the users, you have to search for and add the campaign in the new section "Exclude users of campaigns" (right under the segment). Please make sure you save changes in order to see a proper estimation of audience size that takes into account excluded campaigns.
Mini-games (like Spin The Wheel and Scratch cards) are extended with a new type of prize "Jackpot".
The Jackpot can be with fixed amount defined by the operator or can be progressive when every attempt of playing the game is increasing the total jackpot.
Jackpot value is abstract! It doesn't represent the money or points or any other entity.
This gives you the possibility to treat it the way that works better for your operation.
For example, you can treat the jackpot as cash bonus money.
Taking this as an example you can say that you "guarantee" "10 USD" as the initial jackpot and every user that plays the game is increasing the jackpot by "0.05" USD.
When the jackpot is won, you will need manually to issue the jackpot amount to the user.
As soon as the jackpot is defined in the mini-game, the operator should define a prize of type "Jackpot" and put it on the sector(s) in the game and define "Items in stock" that will control the probability of giving the jackpot.
Jackpot probability is working the same way as any other prize. At the moment when Jackpot is won by some player, the value of the new Jackpot is reset and set to the initial one (Guaranteed by the operator).
When the Jackpot is won, you as an operator need to issue the prize to the user manually.
In order to be notified when someones win the Jackpot, you need to build a Journey that is triggering sending of mail to the Support personal
You can use tag {{jackpot}} in the name, description of promo-text of Mini-game, and also in the name of the prize and acknowledge message. The tag will be replaced with the current value of the jackpot.
Up until now the levels in gamification were defined by gamification points. You must gain a certain amount of points in order to get to the next level.
With this release, we added an additional criteria by which you can define how users get to the next levels and also how they maintain a certain level.
The operator can define the logic of 2 additional criteria and set a threshold for each level.
The criteria can depend on the business vertical and can be any formula from the activities created by end-users. For example, it could be a "Total of winning bets on the football matches in the last 90 days" or "Total of Net deposit in the last 30 days"
If the user doesn’t maintain the given setup, he will be downgraded to a relevant level. That way you add an additional incentive for the players to continue being active in order to maintain and grow in the level structure.
There are 3 new skins were added to the "Spin the Wheel" game.
We added a set of configurations for the gamification widget that provides more granular adjustment of behavior and UX of the widget.

You can check your mini-games performance stats of your mini-games in the separate BI section. Statistics are currently available for:

We have amended the cloning feature for tournaments and as a result now if you clone a tournament, the prize pool will be cloned as well.
We’ve added some changes to the UI for the marketing campaign setup. It’s now available with a more compact presentation, where all explanations are moved into the tooltips visible under "?".
Another new thing is that the scheduling is now moved up in the top area of the campaign definition instead of the bottom as it was before.
We have upgraded the label tag usage visibility information in BO. You can now see how many resources the label tag has been used (missions, emails, etc). The count is updated once per 24 hours.
The new tab “Tag Usage” shows exactly in which elements the tag has been used at the moment:
If you are searching for a value with many results, as in the example I would like to find the Last Selection League Name ATP Barcelona, but when I type ATP I receive hundreds of results and it’s difficult to find the right one.
In this case, you can use the exact match search. In the value section type “=” and the exact name of the league, sport, game, or whatever you are searching for. My example was ATP BARCELONA which appears straight away and I can select it:
We’ve added an additional prevention regarding the execution date and time for scheduled campaigns. If you set up a date/time in the past, the system will trigger an alert and won’t allow you to activate the campaign unless you amend the scheduling:
To help investigate flows, we’ve added "Explore" in the activity elements in the Flow builder of real-time and scheduled campaigns.
It gives the option to show users that got this activity or to show entries timeline of users that got this activity
We’ve changed the structure of visibility for the list of events and properties available for the label. In order for a more clean and functional view, we display only the events that have happened and properties that are populated for the label.
This means that if in your integration that Platform is not sending a "Withdrawal declined" event, it won't be shown in the list of available events.
If you still prefer to see all possible events and properties, please reach out to your account manager in order to have the setting enabled.
We added a copy-paste option for the currency values in gamification elements. If using multicurrency, in a mission, you have to type all values manually in three different sections - general, tasks to complete, and tasks to unlock. You can now type them once in general for example and then copy and paste them into the other sections via the copy/paste buttons:
An additional report was added for the bonus templates. By now you could only see in which missions a given bonus is used in. We now added also the option to see the report with all Campaigns which are using the chosen bonus:
