# Email

Create, customize, and manage dynamic email campaigns with ease. Design personalized messages, segment your audience, and automate follow-ups to boost engagement. Track campaign performance with real-time analytics and refine your strategies for optimal results. Stay connected with your customers and drive business growth through tailored email communication.

## Creating different Types of Email

There are 3 types of emails. In **Marketing → Assets → Email**, click **Create** and choose one:

* **HTML with Vibe Studio** — an HTML email designed with the AI editor.
* **Liquid with Vibe Studio** — HTML with Liquid logic (conditions, loops), designed with the AI editor.
* **Visual (legacy)** — the drag-and-drop editor, from a template.

* **Visual (legacy)** - Select from one of the built-in templates or create one from the ground up. Use the built in editor to create visually appealing emails without any coding. Add images, videos, buttons, and other elements to enhance the look and feel.\
  Customize the content by inserting placeholders for user-specific information like names and preferences or campaigns.\
  Preview your email in both desktop and mobile to ensure it looks great everywhere.<br>

* **HTML with Vibe Studio** - Write HTML code to create more sophisticated and customizable email designs. Incorporate styles, layouts, and interactive elements. Embed dynamic content like personalized greetings, product recommendations, and user-specific data.\
  Use the built-in AI tools to validate your HTML code or enhance your message. Preview your email in real time in both mobile or desktop and apply user id to preview on behalf of the end-user.

* **Liquid with Vibe Studio** - Utilize Liquid syntax to create dynamic and data-driven emails. Use variables and conditionals to personalize content based on user data.\
  Easily insert real-time data, such as current dates, user actions, and custom messages, to make emails highly relevant and engaging.\

**Note**: In Liquid code (conditions, loops, filters), use only `state`, `campaign`, and `event` tags. You can also put label tags such as `{{label.mail_footer}}` in a Liquid email: Smartico fills them in after the Liquid code runs. For the same reason, a label tag cannot be used inside a Liquid condition, loop or filter.

### Design an email with Vibe Studio

When you choose **HTML with Vibe Studio** or **Liquid with Vibe Studio**, enter a name and click **Create & Open Vibe Studio**. The email is saved as a Draft, and Vibe Studio opens with a gallery of 49 ready emails in rows: Welcome & first deposit, Bonuses & offers, Reactivation & retention, Sports, Casino, Missions & levels, Tournaments, Rewards & mini-games, VIP & loyalty, and Lifecycle & service.

1. Click **Preview** to see an email at desktop or phone size (and its AMP version), or **Apply** to load it at once.
2. The chat says what the email is, suggests a subject line and preview text, and lists what you will most likely want to change. Merge tags show with demo values, marked in yellow, so you can see where personal data goes. Emails about missions, tournaments or mini-games say which campaign trigger they need.
3. Ask for changes in your own words: the texts, the offer, the colours, the links, or a new picture. You can also describe your own email from scratch.
4. Click **Apply & Save**. The design goes into the email and the email is saved.

To change an existing HTML or Liquid email, open it and click **Edit in Vibe Studio** in **Mail content**. The arrow next to the button opens **Edit in legacy editor** — the simple code editor with a preview.

#### Save your design as a template

In Vibe Studio, click **Save as template** in the top bar (next to **Cancel**), enter a name and click **Save template**. Vibe Studio saves the email and makes a picture of it. Everyone who works on your label sees it first in the email gallery, in the row **Saved by your team**, with **Preview** and **Apply**. **Apply** loads a copy, so the template itself never changes. An HTML email template shows only in HTML emails, and a Liquid one only in Liquid emails.

### Unsubscribe Link

To ensure deliverability and regulatory compliance, include an opt-out link in your emails by setting a hyperlink destination to `dp:unsubscribe` (for example, `<a href="dp:unsubscribe">Unsubscribe</a>`). During campaign dispatch, Smartico automatically replaces `dp:unsubscribe` with a signed, personalized unsubscribe link that redirects the user to your configured opt-out page. You can also include this link within a global footer Label Tag (such as `{{label.mail_footer}}`). Note that test and preview sends do not replace the unsubscribe link.

### Emails preview

Preview your templates across a vast range of email clients, operating systems, and devices before you hit send. Guarantee a pixel-perfect experience with no layout spills or broken images - even on notoriously difficult clients like Outlook and Yahoo. You can also easily check how Dark Mode affects your text and banners.

**How to start using it right away:**

1. Navigate to any email asset.
2. Click on **Device Preview**.
3. Select the specific devices and clients you wish to test.
4. Click **Generate** to view your results.

**Usage Limits**: Each email generated for a specific device counts as 1 preview. To let you test-drive this feature, every label includes a complimentary trial package of **100 free previews per month** (the **Mail device previews per month** setting in **Label settings**).

Please note that this base allocation is meant strictly for trial purposes so you can experience the value firsthand; it is not designed (and not enough) to support regular production usage. Once you are ready to use Device Preview for your daily operational needs, please contact your Success Manager to purchase an upgraded preview package.

* If you don’t want to wait for generation to complete, you can always check your results later under the **Email > Device Preview History** submenu or the **Device preview history** tab inside the email template, where previews are stored for 90 days.

### Spam Check and Test Sending

In addition to Device Preview, the email editor includes built-in quality assurance and testing actions:

* **Spam check**: Evaluates your email template through an automated spam analysis tool to score deliverability, check email headers, and verify SPF and DKIM authentication before sending.
* **Send test mail**: Dispatches a live test email to any designated email address. You can select an email provider and choose a specific user profile so that personalization values are rendered exactly as that player would receive them.

## Creating Templates

Email templates are being retired: please do not create new ones. Make new emails with **HTML with Vibe Studio** or **Liquid with Vibe Studio**, and keep your own designs for your team with **Save as template** (see [Design an email with Vibe Studio](#design-an-email-with-vibe-studio)). Emails made from templates keep working.
