# September 2026

Smartico release notes for September 2026 - covering CRM Automation and Gamification improvements done since the previous release.

### <i class="fa-rotate">:rotate:</i> Preventing Overlapping Batches in Scheduled Campaigns & Automation Rules&#x20;

We’re changing the behavior of Scheduled Campaigns and Scheduled Automation Rules to prevent overlapping batch executions. Previously, multiple batches could be active at the same time; with this change, a new batch will not start if the previous batch is still running, and the scheduled run will be skipped. We’ve also introduced the 'Not started runs' metric in the Batches tab to show how many scheduled runs were skipped due to an active previous batch.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** This is an ongoing rollout that started gradually on **17.09.2026** and is expected to continue over the next two weeks. You may therefore notice this behavior change being introduced gradually during this period.&#x20;
{% endhint %}

### <i class="fa-clock">:clock:</i> ‘Hourly’ option in Scheduled Automation Rules

We’ve introduced a new ‘Hourly’ scheduling option for Scheduled Automation Rules. The option is controlled by a new Label setting, Enable ‘Hourly’ schedule in Scheduled Automation Rules, which is disabled by default, keeping the Hourly option hidden. Once enabled, you can schedule an Automation Rule to run every hour or at longer intervals, such as every 3 hours.&#x20;

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** To enable the Hourly option, please contact your Success Manager.
{% endhint %}

### <i class="fa-reply-clock">:reply-clock:</i> Dynamic Rewards: "Previous full hour"

Dynamic Rewards in Automation Rules, Campaigns, and Missions now support a new period option: **“Previous full hour”**. Instead of looking back a rolling 60 minutes from the exact second an activity triggers (e.g., from 14:13:25 back to 13:13:25), "Previous full hour" snaps the evaluation window strictly to the most recent complete clock hour (from HH:00:00 to HH:59:59).

<figure><img src="https://77049817-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FfS5hl0PiysHtKAKMsQTe%2Fuploads%2FZcZesU03MPY0BtLhmMSv%2FScreenshot_29.png?alt=media&amp;token=4b4dd737-10dd-40f9-985f-7e4b293f45b5" alt=""><figcaption><p>BO: "Previous full hour" in Automation Rule</p></figcaption></figure>

### <i class="fa-function">:function:</i> Recommended Sport Bet Amount

We have introduced a **Recommended Sport Bet Amount** - a personal sport bet amount calculated for each player. It works alongside the existing Recommended Casino Bet and Recommended Deposit amounts.

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="https://77049817-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FfS5hl0PiysHtKAKMsQTe%2Fuploads%2FnyqytSGzfJtzwyw55EFt%2FUsers%20search%20%5C%20422386465%20-%20ICE2026%20%5C%20smartico.ai%20%40%20EU4%202026-09-16%2021-28-11.png?alt=media&amp;token=ceb2bf9a-569d-4944-897b-10ea1619556c" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

### <i class="fa-code">:code:</i> React Native Demo App - Build a fully native Smartico UI

We have released the **Smartico React Native demo app** - a complete, open-source reference application showing how to build a **fully custom, native gamification UI** on top of the Smartico API.&#x20;

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="https://77049817-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FfS5hl0PiysHtKAKMsQTe%2Fuploads%2FCbwwljHZoU5ksMpeUqWe%2F640858897-887c759f-e12c-415c-ad41-f17a28f42b8d.mp4%202026-09-16%2009-18-25.png?alt=media&amp;token=a81d5725-852b-4ff0-891b-d5694ca7b34d" alt="" width="301"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

Nothing on screen is a hosted widget or a wrapped web page: missions, tournaments, raffles, jackpots, levels, leaderboard, and inbox are all ordinary React Native screens, styled by the operator and fed by Smartico API calls.&#x20;

Smartico is the backend; the entire look and feel belongs to your brand.

The demo covers the full integration surface:

* **Session & identity**: social login (Google / Facebook), session restore, identify with a hashed user ID, and live user properties pushed over the socket.
* **Native gamification screens**: missions and badges with opt-in and reward claim, tournaments with live leaderboards and registration, raffles with draws and prize claim, jackpots, levels and VIP progress, leaderboard, inbox with read/favourite/delete, and avatars including AI avatar generation.
* **Engagement and routing**: engagement popups, deep links (`dp:`) bound to native screens, and push notifications with full lifecycle analytics - delivered, impressions, and actions, including a tap that cold-starts the app.
* **Three rendering tiers**: choose per surface between a native screen, an in-app WebView (mini-games, popups), or the hosted page in the phone browser. Anything you later build natively takes over automatically.

### <i class="fa-gear-complex">:gear-complex:</i> New Common Case - Users who submitted X data in Forms

We have introduced a new Common Case template: **Users who submitted X data in Forms**. This template allows you to segment users based on their specific responses across form fields - including submitted text, numeric values or ranges, date ranges, checkboxes, and selected options.

<figure><img src="https://77049817-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FfS5hl0PiysHtKAKMsQTe%2Fuploads%2Fa35OSaZ47vLDmY2m0d6f%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=ff8bf34f-2453-4dcc-bc62-cf30e4a4a08e" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### <i class="fa-gear-complex">:gear-complex:</i> New Common Case - Users who received Resource X from Campaign Y

We have introduced a new Common Case template: **Users who received Resource X from Campaign Y**. This allows you to segment users who received a specific communication resource - such as SMS, Email, Push notification, or others - from a specific Campaign. You can also define a Time back period to limit the results to a specific timeframe, such as users who received the resource within the last 10 days.

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="https://77049817-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FfS5hl0PiysHtKAKMsQTe%2Fuploads%2F5elHzvDkJOqvM5KPNk9b%2FScreenshot_16.png?alt=media&amp;token=6ca10c10-32c2-45ff-b297-8c6509cfb3f4" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

### <i class="fa-gem">:gem:</i> Gem Rush - New Custom game in Vibe Studio

We’ve introduced a new Custom Game called **Gem Rush**, built using Treasure Hunt mechanics, including its modifiers and reward accumulation logic. You can now easily replace the standard Treasure Hunt experience with Gem Rush by enabling the '**Use Custom Game'** toggle and selecting the Gem Rush global template from Vibe Studio.

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="https://77049817-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FfS5hl0PiysHtKAKMsQTe%2Fuploads%2FQLnQRBVrKUr8wMrlLt58%2FScreenshot_14.png?alt=media&amp;token=7e2f0bf3-1cd7-4772-8218-f2b3d6007f69" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

### <i class="fa-gift">:gift:</i> Lootbox in Vibe Studio

You can now create a Custom Lootbox using Vibe Studio. We’ve introduced a new global Lootbox template that allows you to customize the Lootbox UI directly in Vibe Studio, giving you greater flexibility to adapt its look and feel to your brand.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** To create a Custom Lootbox, use the original Lootbox template and select your Custom Game from there. Do not use the Custom Mini-game template.
{% endhint %}

<figure><img src="https://77049817-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FfS5hl0PiysHtKAKMsQTe%2Fuploads%2FiSVXk2C0m6tVYWrZRjjK%2FImages%20for%20the%20new%20skins%20(1).png?alt=media&amp;token=393c144b-7756-4bb0-b9ca-bdb7ae496261" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### <i class="fa-joystick">:joystick:</i> ‘Use Custom Game’ in Mini-games

We’ve introduced a new **Use Custom Game** option that allows you to replace the standard skin of any mini-game with a Custom Game from Vibe Studio, without creating a separate Custom Mini-game template.

The **Use Custom Game** toggle is available for all mini-game types and is disabled by default. When enabled, the Skin option is replaced with a Custom Game selector, allowing you to choose a Custom Game template created in Vibe Studio.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Important:** When selecting a Custom Game, make sure it uses the same mechanics as the original mini-game. For example, if you are configuring a Loyalty Wheel and select a Custom Game based on Voyager mechanics, the game will not work correctly. The Custom Game must use the mechanics of the mini-game it is replacing.
{% endhint %}

<div><figure><img src="https://77049817-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FfS5hl0PiysHtKAKMsQTe%2Fuploads%2FNs87qrNymwVnYiMzTcgD%2FScreenshot_9.png?alt=media&amp;token=fb2d4851-79dc-49b8-8c02-5bcf76e54b7d" alt=""><figcaption><p>BO: 'Use Custom Game' toggle disabled</p></figcaption></figure> <figure><img src="https://77049817-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FfS5hl0PiysHtKAKMsQTe%2Fuploads%2FCvMPi5pNG40Z3hetGLfU%2FScreenshot_10.png?alt=media&amp;token=80c88369-19e1-4a48-876a-4bfa1b63e934" alt=""><figcaption><p>BO: 'Use Custom Game' toggle enabled</p></figcaption></figure></div>

Along with the new toggle, we’ve also released a **global Custom Lootbox template**. You can now customize the Lootbox UI directly in Vibe Studio, giving you more flexibility to adapt its look and feel to your brand.

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="https://77049817-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FfS5hl0PiysHtKAKMsQTe%2Fuploads%2Fj4IgWazSwvV4EPbkDh2J%2FScreenshot_12.png?alt=media&amp;token=0f5c5cbe-06a0-4418-82e4-c374e4ff8836" alt=""><figcaption><p>BO: Custom Lootbox</p></figcaption></figure></div>

### <i class="fa-code">:code:</i> HTML change log for Emails

We have enhanced Email History with a complete **HTML change log viewer**, enabling you to audit and compare template edits with ease.

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="https://77049817-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FfS5hl0PiysHtKAKMsQTe%2Fuploads%2Fo2ixKfK10DFjTogi5Ocl%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=c9341182-408d-4a05-b994-16a9cfabb727" alt=""><figcaption><p>BO: HTML change log viewer in Email's history</p></figcaption></figure></div>

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.smartico.ai/welcome/products/release-notes/september-2026.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
