Smartico release notes for October 2023 - covering CRM Automation and Gamification improvements done since the previous release.

Deep links to Match X

We’ve created two new deep links designed to direct users either to the Match X section within the Gamification Widget or to a specific Match X game. You can add them for example in pop-up or email templates to send the players directly to a specific Match X game.

• dp:gf_matchx - sends the users to the Match X section in the Gamification Widget

• dp:gf_matchx&id=123 - sends the users directly to a specific Match X game (after the '=' you should add the ID of the game)

Enhanced swipe functionality for inbox messages on mobile

We have improved the swipe functionality for inbox messages on mobile. Now when your clients receive a notification in the gamification widget they can easily swipe right to remove the notification from the screen.

T&C in Gamification Missions

We have integrated the option to display Terms and Conditions in Gamification Missions. Now you can add more details or conditions to the missions.

It is optional if you don’t add any text from the BO, the T&C hint will not be displayed in the Gamification missions. We have made the Terms & Conditions option applicable for multibrand labels and different languages. It is customizable you can add unique T&Cs for different brands and translate them into varied languages.

New User Properties

You can now exclude from your campaigns players who haven’t been engaging with your emails, SMSs, and Push notifications. We have created the following user properties:

• Core: Mail Last Open Date - the last time the player has opened your emails

• Core: Mail Last Click Date - the last time the player has clicked on links from your emails

• Core: Push Last Click Date - the last time the player has clicked on links from push notifications

• Core: Push Notification Last Open Date - the last time the player has opened a push notification

• Core: SMS Last Click Date - the last time the player has clicked on links from SMS

For example, you can create a segment that excludes players who have received your emails but haven't opened them for more than 30 days. This way when you are building a journey, you can selectively send emails only to players who have actively engaged with your emails in the past 30 days.

Following the same logic, you can also create a segment that includes only players who have clicked on links sent via push notifications for the last 30 days.

Bulk completion of missions per user

You can now manually complete multiple missions for a specific user with just a few clicks. We've introduced the option to select the missions you wish to mark as accomplished, and by clicking the 'Complete Selected Missions' button, you can finalize them in a single step.

The 'Complete Selected Missions' button becomes visible when you've chosen one or more missions from the list of active missions within the user's profile.

Once the missions are completed they will be displayed at the bottom of the list along with the corresponding completion date.

Halloween addon for the Gamification Widget

We have added a new Halloween addon for the Gamification Widget. It is applicable for both desktop and mobile.

Switch ON/OFF the background music for all Mini-Games

You can now turn ON/OFF the background music in all minigames. The feature is available within the mini-game template in the BO. By default, the switcher is set to ‘No’. Once the background music is disabled the spinning/scratching sounds will remain available.

Players can control the sound from the UI of the game as well.
