# August 2026

### <i class="fa-chart-diagram">:chart-diagram:</i> Close original engagement in flow builder

You can now control whether a communication activity remains active after a player progresses through a click-based connector in the Campaign Flow Builder. Each outgoing connector that uses a click condition has a **Close original engagement setting**:

* **Yes** - The original engagement is closed when the connector is triggered. The player can no longer progress through other outgoing connectors from the same activity.
* **No** - The original engagement remains active, so the player can still trigger and progress through other eligible connectors from the same activity.

The default value is **Yes**, which preserves the existing behavior.

### <i class="fa-calendar">:calendar:</i> Calendar Overhaul

We’ve fully revamped the **Marketing Calendar** to give you complete visibility into campaign performance and batch executions minimizing the need to enter into individual campaigns just to check updates.

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="/files/Oj5vh0iZhi0rzBtfDFHV" alt=""><figcaption><p>BO: Market Calendar timeline</p></figcaption></figure></div>

The redesign introduces a dynamic timeline view, utilizing dot indicators to represent individual campaign batches. You can toggle between a **Daily view** (a 24-hour hourly breakdown) and a **Weekly view** (a 7-day overview), while the vertical **blue dashed line** highlights the current time in real-time, helping you instantly visualize where active and upcoming batches fall within your schedule.

Along with a modernized UI, here are the new capabilities:

* **Status Tracking**: Monitor campaign batch progress using color-coded indicators for each status state.
* **Audience Scale**: Assess target audience sizes at a glance, directly reflected by the size of each indicator dot.

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="/files/Hb5fEo2dV95xq3L9aX0n" alt=""><figcaption><p>BO: Example of the different sizes and colors of the indicators reflecting the target size and status of the individual batches</p></figcaption></figure></div>

* **Instant Metrics**: Track critical metrics like **Conversion %** and **Attribution Value** directly from the main timeline

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="/files/v1wutOI309VCwZgnWKC4" alt=""><figcaption><p>BO: Example of Marketing Calendar with the <strong>Attribution value</strong> metric</p></figcaption></figure></div>

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="/files/J8tDGHIvxSPTnxdH3nC2" alt=""><figcaption><p>BO: Example of Marketing Calendar with the <strong>Conversion %</strong> metric</p></figcaption></figure></div>

* **List of Activities**: View all configured activities within a campaign flow upfront, without navigating into the campaign journey.

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="/files/ijIM6r72HvLh8LMEl4CQ" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

### <i class="fa-messages">:messages:</i> User Profile's "Send Message" - Redesign and New Functionalities

We are introducing a redesign of the Send Message modal in the User Profile with a modernized UX, alongside two new core functionalities available across all communication channels:

* **Live Preview**: Displays a real-time mockup on the right side of the modal that dynamically updates content, text formatting, buttons, and media as you type quick messages or select templates.
* **Select Template**: Search for and choose from your previously created communication templates, then preview the layout before sending.

### <i class="fa-money-bill-trend-up">:money-bill-trend-up:</i> Dynamic Rewards: Last “X” Full Days

Dynamic Rewards in Automation Rules, Campaigns, and Missions now support a new period option: **“Last ‘X’ full days”**. When selected, you can specify the 'Number of full days' to look back. Unlike the existing 'Time back period', which counts backward from the exact time the rule runs, this option uses complete calendar days, from midnight to midnight.

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="/files/UBoMJ3huR7ehUB2NGKrx" alt=""><figcaption><p>BO: 'Last X full days' option in Dynamic rewards</p></figcaption></figure></div>

For example, if an Automation Rule runs at 07:00 on August 7 and Number of full days = 7, the reward calculation will consider transactions from August 1, 00:00 through August 7, 23:59, covering the previous 7 complete calendar days.

The calculation uses the timezone configured for the rule, including the player's local timezone when the ‘User timezone’ is selected. The rule can still run at any time - the new option only changes how the transaction period is calculated.

### <i class="fa-clock-three">:clock-three:</i> New option in Communication CAPs

We've introduced a new one-hour CAP option for communication limits, available at both the per-user and global levels. You can now configure hourly limits - for example, restricting communication to a maximum of 5 emails per user per hour or 5 emails globally per hour.

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="/files/5ebfx6mVA32V4vt712oY" alt=""><figcaption><p>BO: One hour option in Communication CAPs</p></figcaption></figure></div>

### <i class="fa-timer">:timer:</i> Reset of Clan rating & User points in Clans

We've introduced new reset capabilities to give you full control over Clan progression and individual clan member leaderboards.

* ***\[Manual Global]*****&#x20;Clan Rating Reset**: Instantly wipes overall ratings across all Clans created for the label to zero.

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="/files/e37ja2YoC58dTLLMyCE9" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

* ***\[Manual Individual]*****&#x20;Clan Member Score Reset**: Clears accumulated points for all members within the individual Clan without affecting other Clans.

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="/files/y7akJPLNtjZY7qMli06W" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

* ***\[Automated Global]*****&#x20;Clan Member Score Reset**: Configures scheduled, recurring point wipes (e.g., monthly) for all Clan members within all Clans across the label.

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="/files/cwdlnx0S6w1VG2cLt0n6" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

Over time, dominant Clans or high-performing players can accumulate bigger leads, discouraging others from participating. By resetting ratings globally or wiping member scores, you eliminate wide performance gaps, give every player a fresh start, and reignite tighter competition between the clans.

### <i class="fa-wpforms">:wpforms:</i> Forms

Forms is an interactive data-collection tool designed to gather real-time information directly from your end users, whether for profile updates, surveys, or other preferences. You can now build, brand, and launch custom forms that automatically route submitted data and are powered by our segmentation engine.

<figure><img src="/files/J4csGkQD2u9zYJUSKuQj" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

With Forms, you can capture high-value user data and put it to work instantly. Here is how it powers your day-to-day operations:

* Update Profiles Automatically: You can connect fields directly to existing user properties (such as first name or phone) to update profiles on submission, or assign custom keys to pass unique data directly into your campaign payloads.
* Target Specific Audiences: Restrict form availability to dedicated target segments, so users see only forms relevant to them.
* Keep Your Database Clean: Apply validation rules such as character limits, numeric ranges, and custom Regex patterns to prevent invalid submissions and format inputs like phone numbers and email addresses correctly.
* Branding & Multi-Language Support: Match your forms to your brand skin without hassle. You can tweak CSS colors, modify HTML layouts, do localization, and preview your changes live side-by-side.

### <i class="fa-brain-circuit">:brain-circuit:</i> Bonus Eligibility Model

We're introducing **Bonus Eligibility** — a model that tells you, per player per day, whether the next bonus is worth granting, so bonus budget lands where it changes behavior and not where it's wasted.

**Bonus Eligibility Model** scores every active player daily and returns a clear recommendation — **Eligible** or **Suppress**. Players without enough history to score honestly are returned as **Unknown** rather than guessed at.

The **Bonus Eligibility Model** recommendation combines 4 independent signals coming from the following Source Models:&#x20;

1. **Bonus Share Model** - Whether a player funds their own play or leans on bonuses (Self Funded vs Bonus Dependent)
2. **Bonus Effectiveness Model -** Whether past bonuses actually moved this player's real-money play or just went along for the ride (Bonus driving extra Real-money activity vs Bonus not driving extra Real-money activity).&#x20;
3. **Bonus-to-Deposit Ratio Model** - Whether the bonus a player gets is proportionate to what they deposit, compared to other users (In line with peers vs. Over-bonused vs. Peers).&#x20;
4. **Profitability Model** - Whether the player is profitable to the brand over time (Loses over time vs Wins over time)

You can choose to use any of these **4 Source Models** or the aggregated **Bonus Eligibility**.

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="/files/TfQlSsI6mFdmyTlUJRP0" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

Scoring is **calibrated per brand** and **brand-relative** — "eligible" means eligible against that brand's own players, not a generic benchmark. Every recommendation carries its reasons, so your team always knows *why* a player was flagged.

Outputs are delivered straight into the CRM as the property flag and tier bands (**Eligible, Borderline, Suppress, Unknown**), available in the player panel and for use in segmentation, journeys, missions, so you can stop bonusing players who'd play anyway and protect the budget for the ones who respond. The goal is simple: **fewer and smaller bonuses, with gaming activity held flat.**

The properties for the **Aggregational Bonus Eligibility Model** is `Core: bonus eligibility - verdict`

**The Properties for the 4 Source Models are:**

* Bonus Share Model - `Core: bonus eligibility - share result`
* Bonus Effectiveness Model - `Core: bonus eligibility - effectiveness result`
* Bonus-to-Deposit Ratio Model - `Core: bonus eligibility - ratio result`
* Profitability Model - `Core: bonus eligibility - profitability result`

### <i class="fa-brain-circuit">:brain-circuit:</i> Gamification Penetration Model

We're introducing **Gamification Penetration** - a model that shows how deeply each player has taken up each of the Smartico gamification features, and which one is worth pushing them on next.

Every active depositing player is scored daily across all five features:&#x20;

1. Missions
2. Tournaments
3. Jackpots
4. Minigames
5. the Store.&#x20;

Each score places the player on a five-rung ladder based on whether they started, how often they took part, and whether they came back month after month across the last 90 days.&#x20;

1. Not started
2. Lapsed
3. Starter
4. Engaged
5. Power User&#x20;

The model counts **only conscious engagement**. Auto-enrolled tournaments and platform-assigned missions are excluded, so a position reflects what the player **actually chose to do**.&#x20;

Each feature is calibrated to its own behaviour, which puts all five onto one comparable scale - the model then recommends the single feature where moving that player up a rung carries the largest deposit value gap, measured in absolute terms rather than percentages.

Outputs are delivered straight into the CRM as:

1. Per-Feature conditions (allowing you to segment the users per specific product - for example, all the users that are Tournament "Starters", and should be pushed towards the "Engaged" status):&#x20;
   1. `Gamification penetration: jackpot tier`
   2. `Gamification penetration: mini-games tier`
   3. `Gamification penetration: missions tier`
   4. `Gamification penetration: store tier`
   5. `Gamification penetration: tournaments tier`&#x20;
2. Aggregated Recommendation condition (allowing you to pick the next best action for the user across the 5 products): `Gamification penetration: recommended product`&#x20;

All these are available in the player panel, in the Backoffice, and for use in segmentation, journeys, missions.&#x20;

**Gamification Penetration is being recalculated daily.**

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="/files/uwyN4YlcLF14yYqa2HNR" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

### <i class="fa-store-24">:store-24:</i> Hide Store item during restricted period

We've introduced a new option for Store items that lets you hide an item during its restricted purchase period. By default, this option is disabled, meaning the item remains visible even when purchases are restricted. This setting applies specifically to the Restrict Purchase by Time limit.

When purchase restrictions are configured (e.g., for specific days or time periods), you can choose one of two behaviors:

* **Keep the item visible** - Players can see the item, but attempting to purchase it will display an error message.
* **Hide the item** - The item is completely removed from the Store UI during the restricted period.
