Creating Rounds
Navigate to the Game Rounds tab, and click on Create Round.
Set the Round Name, please note the name is public and will be visible in the Front End to the players (e.g. “Week 1”, “Round 1”...).
There are 3 types of score points:
Score points, full win The amount of score points the player will receive when predicting the correct score of a match
Score points, partial win The amount of score points the player will receive when predicting the full-time result of a match
Score points, lost The amount of score points the player will receive for losing, and not predicting any score but making the attempt. Can be left with a 0 value.
Every round has 2 important dates to take into consideration:
Round is open from, UTC The time when the round will be open for predictions. When a round is open for bets, other rounds can not co-exist. There could only be 1 round open for bets in any given moment.
Bets are allowed till, UTC The time when predictions are open until, before this time the player can also adjust their prediction. A round can be resolved before this end date, in this case, the date will be adjusted automatically.
Other available options:
Order Matches The way matches will be ordered in the MatchX UI
Hide prediction results from users When enabled, the users cannot see predictions of other players for not resolved matches
Number of users in the Leaderboard Maximum number of users that will be shown in the leaderboard
Matches resolution type Define which results of matches will be taken into account - full-time including overtime or just full-time. This setting will affect only matches that are selected from the sports feed. Matches that are entered manually, need to be resolved manually as well
Create an event from the feed
You can choose which matches you want to present in the round by selecting them from the feed of matches, filtering by sport type, league, teams, etc.
Multi-select the matches you want to offer, and click OK.
The matches will be then created, and if available the jerseys of the teams will also appear.
Edit a match
Click on the edit button of a match to edit.
Change the name of the teams manually
Change a jersey if Smartico could not find the suitable one for that team
Manually settle a match by inserting the final score of the match for each team.
Change event/league name, this will appear in the block of the match on the Front End for the player
Create event manually
Matches can be created manually by just inserting team names, league/match names, and jerseys manually. Such matches naturally will not be settled automatically and need to be settled manually by the operator.
Once you have done creating all the matches for the round, click save to go back to the game configuration..
Unlimited rounds can be created for each game, and can be used to simulate the weeks of a National League (Italy Serie A, La Liga, Uefa Champions League, etc)
