◾Cross-sell. Match users on different brands
You can match players who exist in multiple brands under the same Smartico label/instance. The matching of the users can be configured by phone number, email address, or both email and phone number.
Once the feature is enabled, you will be able to create segments with these new properties:
Core: smartico brand
Core: my smartico other brands
These properties allow you to identify players with multiple accounts across all your brands and then specifically target them from a different brand. For example, you can create a segment with users who possess an account on one of your specific brands but lack an account on another distinct brand of yours.

You will also have the ability to easily identify all users with duplicate accounts, without the need to specify the exact brands involved. This allows you to send targeted promotions exclusively to players with multiple accounts across your brands, ensuring they receive customized offers matching their account status.

Segmentation Rules and Campaign Execution
When configuring cross-brand segments and campaigns, keep the following rules in mind:

Cross-brand information is also available on the User Profile screen under the Account section as Crossed brands, showing the list of brands where the player holds matched accounts.

FAQ
How often does cross-brand matching update?
Matching is evaluated by an automated background process approximately every 55 minutes. When a player creates an account on a second brand, there may be a short delay before their crossed brands property reflects the new account in segments and profile views.
Does cross-brand matching detect duplicate accounts on the same brand?
No. Cross-sell matching is designed strictly to detect accounts across different brands under the same label. Same-brand duplicate detection (such as multiple registrations with the same email on a single brand) is not evaluated by this feature and should be handled via platform KYC controls or custom properties.
Can players be matched across different Smartico labels?
No. Cross-brand matching operates strictly within a single Smartico label instance. Players cannot be linked across separate labels or environments.
Which communication channels and unsubscribe settings apply during cross-sell campaigns?
Campaigns always execute from the brand context where the segment and campaign are built. If you send an email from Brand A offering a bonus on Brand B, the message uses Brand A's sender profile, email templates, and sender domain, and respects the player's communication opt-in status on Brand A.
Can we match players using a master player ID instead of email or phone?
Yes. If your platform integration provides a unified master player ID or customer key across all brand feeds, custom matching logic can be configured by your Customer Success Manager.
