# BI & Reporting

Smartico provides a comprehensive Business Intelligence and Reporting ecosystem designed to help operators monitor real-time business health, evaluate CRM campaign performance, analyze gamification economies, and extract custom row-level datasets.

The BI & Reporting suite consists of two primary layers:

* **Interactive Back-Office Dashboards**: A visual analytics suite embedded directly within the Back-Office under the **Reports** menu, offering interactive filtering, performance scoring, cohort tracking, and visual charts across marketing, gamification, and operational domains.
* **Direct Data Warehouse (DWH) Access**: Dedicated Google BigQuery data warehouse access for analytics teams seeking to run custom SQL queries, build multi-source joins, and integrate Smartico event data into enterprise BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Looker Studio.

## Back-Office Dashboards Suite

Smartico provides purpose-built, interactive dashboards accessible directly from the Back-Office navigation under **Reports**. Key dashboard categories include:

### Business Health & Executive KPIs (My Business)

* **Heartbeat**: Near-real-time operational monitoring updated hourly to detect activity spikes, deposit anomalies, and operational friction.
* **Growth & Market Expansion**: Acquisition velocity and conversion funnels tracking player progression from registration to First-Time Deposit (FTD).
* **Retention & Revenue**: Daily financial sustainability, Net Deposits, GGR trends, and player lifecycle balance.
* **Player Value Management**: High-roller / VIP segmentation, churn risk identification, and personalized player engagement tracking.
* **Products Management**: Performance auditing across Casino and Sports verticals, game providers, and cross-sell dynamics.

### Marketing & CRM Performance

* **Campaigns Dashboard**: Multi-tab analysis covering overall conversion ROI, risk alerts (negative margins, high churn), delivery health across communication channels (Email, SMS, Push, Inbox, Popups), before-and-during lift, and statistically validated Control vs. Test / A/B testing lift.
* **Attribution Value & Communications Effect**: Financial attribution modeling to evaluate the incremental monetary value generated by specific marketing journeys.

### Gamification & Virtual Economy

* **Missions & Badges Dashboard**: Funnel completion rates, task-level drop-offs, and unclaimed reward liabilities.
* **Tournaments Dashboard**: Participation velocity, leaderboard engagement, prize pool distribution, and tournament ROI.
* **Minigames & Spin-a-Wheel**: Engagement volume, deposit/betting lift correlation, and prize distribution tallies.
* **Points, Gems & Diamonds**: Virtual currency issuance versus redemption in the Rewards Store to maintain healthy economy balances.
* **Raffles & Clans**: Ticket acquisition, draw participation, clan collaboration, and prize claim rates.

### Player Intelligence & Predictive Models

* **AI Churn Predictions & Migration**: Machine-learning predictions categorizing players by churn risk and tracking risk-tier migration over time.
* **RFM & Value Score Models**: Dynamic player segmentation based on Recency, Frequency, and Monetary scoring.
* **Favorite Products**: Automated tracking of favorite games, providers, and betting categories to power personalized CRM journeys.

## Smartico Data Warehouse (DWH) Integration

For advanced analytics, data engineering, and custom reporting workflows, Smartico provides direct access to the Data Warehouse built on Google BigQuery.

### Key Capabilities

* **Raw Row-Level Access**: Access immutable fact tables (communications, player events, gamification progress, transactions) and hourly dimension tables.
* **External BI & ETL Tool Compatibility**: Connect directly to tools like Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, dbt, or custom data ingestion pipelines using standard BigQuery connectors.
* **Real-Time Streaming & Date Partitioning**: Fact tables stream data continuously and are partitioned by date for optimized query performance.
* **Data Expert AI Assistant**: Utilize the Back-Office AI Data Expert to explore table schemas and generate ready-to-use SQL queries tailored to your brand's dataset.
* **Historical Data Window**: Fact tables maintain a rolling 1080-day history with an included monthly data-scan quota.

## Frequently Asked Questions

### What is the difference between Back-Office Dashboards and the Data Warehouse (DWH)?

Back-Office Dashboards provide instant, pre-aggregated visual reports designed for day-to-day campaign management, gamification monitoring, and operational decision-making without requiring technical query skills.

The Data Warehouse (DWH) provides direct, row-level Google BigQuery access to raw operational events and historical records. It is designed for BI teams and data engineers who need to build custom ETL pipelines, perform multi-source joins with internal PAM databases, or power external dashboards in tools like Power BI and Tableau.

### What timezone and update cadence do Smartico reports use?

All standard Smartico reports and Data Warehouse fact tables operate in **UTC** by default. When reconciling data against local payment providers or PAM databases operating in local time zones (e.g. UTC-3 or CET), ensure date boundaries are aligned to UTC.

* **Real-time / Near-real-time**: Transactional events stream into Data Warehouse fact tables within minutes, and operational dashboards (such as My Business Heartbeat) refresh hourly.
* **Daily / Overnight Aggregations**: Complex analytical models, cohort retention summaries, RFM scores, and multi-day campaign metrics calculate overnight following daily data processing pipelines.

### How can I export data from Smartico reports?

Back-Office dashboards support exporting visual summaries, filtered tables, and chart data directly to CSV or Excel for offline analysis.

For full row-level historical extracts exceeding standard table limits (such as millions of granular player event logs), operators should query the Smartico Data Warehouse directly or configure automated ETL exports rather than attempting high-volume browser exports.

### Why might Smartico reports differ from external PAM or casino provider tallies?

Smartico reports metrics based strictly on events delivered to the Smartico platform via integration APIs and webhooks. Discrepancies typically arise when:

* Off-platform actions (such as manual withdrawal approvals or manual balance adjustments) do not emit corresponding API events to Smartico.
* Timezone cutoffs differ between the operator's local PAM reporting window and Smartico's standard UTC timestamp grain.
* Different attribution logic is used (e.g. Smartico's multi-touch or windowed campaign attribution versus platform-wide gross totals).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.smartico.ai/welcome/products/bi-and-reporting.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
