Smartico release notes for April 2026 - covering CRM Automation and Gamification improvements done since the previous release.

hourglass-clock Limit the number of entries per user in Campaigns

You can now control how many times a user can enter a Real-time Campaign using the ‘Maximum number of entries per user’ setting. Once the limit is reached, the user will no longer be able to enter the campaign until the restriction resets.

Important:

  • The 'Maximum number of entries per user' setting is only available when enabled in 'Label Settings → Enable the maximum number of entries per user'. By default, this setting is disabled.

  • Please contact your Success Manager to enable it.

  • Available only for Real-time Campaigns.

BO: Max. number of entries per user option in Real-time Campaigns

This allows you to define how many entries a user is allowed within a specific time period. Available options are:

  • Lifetime - limits the total number of entries for the user overall

  • Days - limits entries within a rolling or calendar-based period. You can choose:

    • Calendar days in user’s time zone

    • Calendar days in a specific time zone (e.g. UTC+3)

    • Time counted from the user’s last entry

screwdriver-wrench Hide Pop-ups and Inboxes on specific pages

To help you maintain a seamless onsite experience, we’ve added the ability to hide pop-ups and inboxes on select pages. For instance, you can exclude the Store page to ensure a friction-free path to purchase, or you can prevent interruptions during active gameplay by suppressing notifications, ensuring the user stays fully focused on continuous play.

Simply define your excluded URLs/masks within the Label settings.

Our new manual recall feature allows you to pull back messages from all user inboxes at once. Whether you’ve spotted a typo or the information is outdated, you can now manage your communications more effectively by removing messages that should no longer be viewed.

We have added BCC functionality to our Email Activity. This will allow for better tracking and internal record-keeping by enabling you to send silent copies of journey emails to secondary addresses.

  • New BCC Field: You can now add BCC recipients directly within the Email Activity in your Journey flows.

gamepad-modern Scheduled Leaderboard Notifications for the Tournaments

Keep players engaged and drive late-stage competition with our new Mid-Tournament Leaderboard Updates. You can now trigger the tournament_leaderboard_update event to automatically notify players of their current standings while a tournament is still active. This is ideal for targeted campaigns, such as motivating the Top 10 players to push for a win.

Because the event includes the tournament_leaderboard_position property, you can easily personalize your CRM communications with dynamic messaging like:

You have full control over when and to whom these updates are sent. Simply define how many top-ranked users should receive the notification and choose from three scheduling modes: Daily, Days of the Week (e.g., weekends only), or Specific Dates & Times. Whether you want to send daily updates to the top 50 players or a single strategic alert to the top 10, you can now reach the right competitors at exactly the right time.

We have introduced Avatars V2, allowing users to personalize their identity within the gamification widget. Operators can create and manage avatars from the BO, configure them as free or reward-based, and distribute them across features such as Missions, Tournaments, Mini-games, Store, and more.

A new Avatar Customization capability is also available, enabling users to apply AI-powered visual changes using predefined prompts, with each customization being a paid action that generates a new avatar variation. Users can browse their customization history and revert to previous versions at any time.

We are officially rolling out the My Business Dashboards Portfolio - a comprehensive suite of five specialized analytical environments designed to transform raw data into a high-velocity decision engine.

From real-time operational "vitals" to high-touch VIP management, this update ensures every stakeholder - from DevOps to the Executive suite - has a clear, secure, and granular view of the business.

1. My Business - Heartbeat (The Pulse): Monitors platform vitality in 30-minute intervals. It uses a three-layer comparison (Today vs. 7-Day Avg vs. Last Week) to detect technical anomalies, login friction, and payment gateway failures before they become crises.

2. Growth & Market Expansion (The Front Door): Tracks the conversion funnel from Registration to First Time Deposit (FTD). It identifies onboarding friction and audits the "Time-to-Value" for new cohorts to ensure scaling doesn't come at the cost of traffic quality.

3. Retention & Revenue (The Sustainability Engine): Shifting focus from "getting users" to "keeping profit." It analyzes Net Deposits, House Margins, and the delicate balance between new and reactivated users to ensure the business is a compounding profit engine.

4. Player Value Management (The Precision Engine): Isolates the Top 1% of users ("Whales") and provides tactical action lists. It focuses on white-glove intervention - tracking birthdays, churn risks, and personalized gifting rather than generic automation.

5. Products Management (The Engine Room): Audits the performance of the actual "store shelves." It evaluates Casino and Sport verticals, provider efficiency, and the cross-sell matrix to see how users move between different gaming products.


You can now add Related Games to each Store item, similar to the functionality available in Missions and Tournaments. A new Related Games tab has been added to the Store item template in the BO, where you can select which games will be displayed within the Store item in the GF widget.

hourglass-clock Spin expiration for Match X and Quiz

We’ve added ‘Spin Expiration Rule’ and ‘Max Active Spins per User’ options to Match X and Quiz. You can now configure spin attempt costs and define when unused attempts expire using flexible rules. You can also define Max Active Spins per User, which limits how many spin attempts a user can have at a time. For example, if set to 1, the user can participate in only one round of Match X or Quiz. Once the spin is used, they must receive a new attempt before joining another round.

Note: When the cost type is 'Spin Attempts', the cost is applied once per round, regardless of how many predictions are made within that round. All predictions in the same round count as a single attempt.
